Spaces supports architectural CGI studios worldwide, offering advice and investment in early-stage startup studios, backing founders who want to grow their teams.
Spaces is a not for profit organisation and an initiative of the charitable Alan Davidson Foundation (ADF). Alan founded world-renowned architectural visualisation studio Hayes Davidson in 1989 and established ADF after his diagnosis with MND/ALS in 2012. The charity supports a wide range of causes with a primary focus on MND/ALS research and care. You can learn more about the causes that ADF supports here >
Spaces offers support and advice about many aspects of studio management including brand, culture, ownership structure, systems and marketing; all geared to maximise the chance of success for the studio. We will offer guidance on artwork if required.
In return for our input, Spaces asks for charitable donations into the Foundation. If we invest we do so with an agreement that a donation is made annually to the Foundation.
Spaces scouts and shortlists candidate startup studios, and welcome applications from the very highest calibre artists and founders.
We mentor a limited number of startup studios at any one time. Our next round of candidate applications closes June 30th. If you would like to apply please refer to our application process below.
We look forward to hearing from you!
